I'm happy to welcome all new and returning students to the 2022/2023 academic session on behalf of the executive of the Law Student' Society. We are excited to embark on another year of our law school journeys.
We have established the following objectives in relation to our theme, among others:
1) Promoting an LSS that runs like a family;
2) To improve overall academic performance;
3) To provide enough resources for career growth;
4) To provide engaging social events.
This year's executive board is steadfastly committed to achieving these objectives through outstanding programs, outreach, and service. In addition to serving the LSS, we are dedicated to quality.
I implore you to take a chance and try something unique in this new session. Try out a new interest, make a new acquaintance, talk to a professor or senior member of your class, join a club you've never heard of before, push yourself, learn, lead, and reflect. Be willing to give it a shot since you never know what can happen. You could learn more from your failures than your accomplishments, so don't be scared to fail. Although at first, it might seem overwhelming, I can assure you that if you are willing to attempt, something positive will always come of it.
Join us as the LSS continues to offer top-notch programs, advocacy initiatives, academic support, and career development that improve our transition from students to lawyers.
Do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any inquiries. I look forward to the exciting year we have ahead.
LSS President
